Renault’s Ride & Drive Eventsmove up a gear

To enhance visitor experiences at its Ride and Drive events, Renault has installed two 42” weatherproof LCD screens from SANYO to clearly display event updates and vehicle information.

Renault is running eighteen Ride and Drive events around the country at which new and existing customers can test drive all cars and vans across the Renault range. The two day events, held at popular visitor attractions, allow guests to have access to an unprecedented test drive experience by driving the vehicles, unaccompanied, on the surrounding roads. In the first two events alone, over 1000 test drives were taken.

To ensure the smooth running of the event and keep guests up to date with when their car will be available to drive, Renault runs regular updates on specially erected screens. In previous years, the quality of the images portrayed was impacted by the glare of the sun which made them difficult to see. To address this, Tro Group, the organisers of the Ride and Drive events, have chosen to install weatherproof screens from SANYO.

SANYO’s ground-breaking, fully IP56 weatherproof, durable flat panel LCD screens are perfect for permanent outdoor use. These 42” and 32” LCD screens can easily withstand the UK’s weather and can therefore be left outside all year round.

They offer full protection against the elements with an acrylic front panel that protects the lightweight aluminum framed LCD display. Other features include 3.5mm thick glass and anti-glare glass. A high security lockable wall mounting bracket is also available for added peace of mind.
